Gender equity and diversity are essential factors to achieve development. And this research paper investigates gender equity and diversity and their relationship to the development process in the humanitarian institutions in Jordan. It measures how gender equity and diversity are being achieved in humanitarian institutions, and their contribution to development. And for that purpose a survey was filled by 190 workers in humanitarian institutions in order to measure how much gender equity and diversity are being achieved and maintained in humanitarian institutions in Jordan and their contribution to development.
The major findings of this research paper is that gender equity and diversity are being partially implemented by humanitarian institutions. They are not fully achieved and there are still several areas need to be defined, targeted and addressed by humanitarian institutions in this regards.
المساواة بين الجنسين والتنوع عاملان أساسيان لتحقيق التنمية وفي هذا الصدد تدرس هذه الأطروحة المساواة بين الجنسين والتنوع وعلاقتهما بعملية التنمية في المؤسسات الإنسانية في الأردن. إضافةً إلى ذلك, تقوم هذه الأطروحة بتمحيص سبل تحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين والتنوع في المؤسسات الإنسانية ، ومساهمتها في عملية التنمية. ولهذا الغرض ، تم ملء استبيان من قبل 190 عاملا في المؤسسات الإنسانية من أجل قياس مدى تحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين والتنوع في المؤسسات الإنسانية في الأردن ومساهمتها في عملية التنمية.
ومن النتائج الرئيسية لهذه الأطروحة هي أن المساواة بين الجنسين والتنوع لا يتم تحقيقهما بالمطلق من قبل المؤسسات الإنسانية وإنما يتم تنفيذهما جزئيا, ولا تزال هناك العديد من التفاصيل بما يتعلق بالمساواة بين الجنسين والتنمية التي تحتاج إلى توضيح واستهداف ومعالجة من قبل المؤسسات الإنسانية في الأردن.
