يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة الإستعارة في الخطاب السياسي الساخر، وهذه الدراسة تحلل الاستعارة في الخطاب اللفظي للكاتب الأردني أحمد حسن الزعبي. وبشكل أكثر تحديداً، تهدف إلى إيجاد أنواع الاستعارات المعرفية التي يستخدمها الزعبي والطرق التي يوظفها في السياقات السياسية الساخرة بالإضافة إلى الهدف من وراء استخدام هذه الإستعارات من خلال اعتماد المنهج البحثي في التحليل لكل من Lakoff and Johnson (1980)، وSearle's Speech Act Theory (1979). تضمنت البيانات التي تم تحليلها في هذا البحث الاستعارات من 60 مقطع فيديو على موقع يوتيوب تم جمعها من ثلاثة برامج ساخرة لأحمد حسن الزعبي. يدرس الباحث تأثير الخطاب السياسي الساخر الذي يستخدمه الزعبي على الرأي العام من خلال تحليل تعليقات المشاهدين على كل فيديو. وقد تضمنت نتائج البحث بأن الإستعارات السياسية الموجودة في الخطاب السياسي الساخر للزعبي قد اشتملت على رسائل خفية وانتقادات غير مباشرة للحكومة والسياسات المختلفة في الأردن، واقتراح حلول وبدائل لبعض القرارات السياسية. وقد ظهر تأثير الخطاب السياسي الساخر على المشاهدين من خلال تفاعلهم في التعليقات على محتوى فيديوهات الزعبي وكان ذلك مؤشراً على أن خطاب الزعبي في مقاطع الفيديو الخاصة به يوجه ويشكل الآراء السياسية للمشاهدين. وجد في النتائج بأن أنواع الاستعارة الأكثر شيوعًا في مقاطع فيديو الزعبي هي الاستعارات الأنطولوجية و استعارات الكناية (المجاز المرسل)، بينما كان نوع الاستعارة الأقل استخدامًا هو الاستعارة الاتجاهية. علاوة على ذلك ، كانت الاستخدامات العملية الأكثر شيوعًا لهذه الاستعارات هي انتقاد الحكومة والسياسات في الأردن.
This research aims to investigate metaphors in cynical political spoken discourse. It takes the form of a case study to analyze the realizations of metaphors in the discourse of the Jordanian writer Ahmad Hasan Al-Zoubi. More specifically, it aims to find types of cognitive metaphors in his speech to recognize the way in which Al-Zoubi employs metaphors in cynical political contexts. It also examines the reasons behind his metaphorical use. It adopted the frameworks of Lakoff and Johnson (1980), and Searle's Speech Act Theory (1979). The data presented in this research is comprised of metaphors from 60 YouTube videos collected from three cynical programs of Ahmad Hasan Al-Zoubi. The study also examined the effects of the cynical political discourse used by Al-Zoubi on public opinion by analyzing viewers’ comments on each video. The study revealed that political metaphors in Al-Zoubi’s spoken discourse deliver hidden messages and indirect criticism of the government and its various policies in Jordan, and suggest solutions and alternatives for some political decisions. The most frequent metaphor types in Al-Zoubi’s videos were the ontological and metonymy metaphors, while the less used metaphor type was orientational metaphor. Furthermore, the most frequent pragmatic uses for these metaphors were to criticize the government and policies in Jordan. Al-Zoubi tended to use indirect criticism in his videos by using these metaphors, and suggested some solutions for different political problems in Jordan as can be interpreted from his videos. The effect of cynical political discourse on the public was shown by the interaction of the viewers, as most of them agreed with the content of the Al-Zoubi’s videos. That was an indicator that Al-Zoubi’s discourse in his videos directs and shapes viewers’ political opinions.
