The most critical activity in any pharmaceutical company is launching a new product and it’s a repeated activity during the whole company life. The major concern of the pharmaceutical company during the launching process is how to decide the list of best hospitals and doctors to start the launching process for the selected list rather than launching the product to the whole list of hospitals and doctors which is saving the company money and time.
The proposed model consists of two phases; phase one is to select the best list hospitals, and phase two is to select the best list of doctors, through applying Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) two times to decide the selected lists.
Based on phase one (hospitals selection), the priority results of the main criteria show that the hospital with better hospital data, better financial issues and good patients' characteristics are the best choice during the launching process. According to sub-criteria results, it was observed that the highest priorities are purchasing by orders, receivables, patients’ socioeconomic level, the maturity and role of nutrition departments in products prescriptions.
As for phase two (doctors’ selection), the results of main criteria show that the best choice is the doctor having better behaviors with good patients' characteristics and beneficial indicators. The highest priorities for sub-criteria are acceptance of using meal replacement shakes, patients’ socioeconomic level, and prescriptions tracking.
The final results for phase one show that the best list of hospitals based on priority indicators are Jordan hospital, Arab medical center, Jordan University hospital, Islamic hospital, and Farah hospital, and the highest value was 0.45 The results for phase two show that the best list of doctors are doctors B, A, C, D, and E. The highest priority indicator of phase two was 0.50. Those alternatives should be taken into the pharmaceutical company consideration when starting the launching process.
إن النشاط الاكثر أهمية في اي شركة أدوية هو إطلاق منتج جديد وهو نشاط متكرر طوال حياة الشركة، وأكثر ما يهم شركة الاأدوية خلال عملية الإطلاق هو كيفية تحديد قائمة أفضل المستشفيات والأطباء لبدء اطلاق المنتج الجديد لهذه القائمة المختارة بدلا من اطلاق المنتج لكل المستشفيات والأطباء وهذا يوفرعلى الشركة الوقت والمال.
النوذج المقترح يحتوي على مرحلتين؛ المرحلة الأولى هي إختيار قائمة أفضل مستشفيات، والخطوة الثانية هي إختيار قائمة أفضل أطباء، عن طريق تطبيق عملية التحليل الهرمية AHP مرتين لتحديد القائمة المختارة.
بناءا على الخطوة الاولى( اختيار المستشفيات)، تظهر أولويات اختيار المعايير الرئيسية أن المستشفى الذي يمتلك أفضل بيانات مستشفى و أفضل خصائص مالية مع أفضل خصائص مرضى هو الخيار الأفضل أثناء عملية اطلاق المنتج الجديد. ووفقا" لنتائج أولويات المعايير الفرعية فإن أعلى الأولويات هي لشراء عن طريق الطلبات، وحسابات الذمم، و المستوى الإقتصادي الاجتماعي للمرضى، ونضج قسم التغذية ولعبه دور في الوصفات الطبية للمنتج.
وفقا" للخطوة الثانية (اختيار الأطباء)، تظهر نتائج المعايير الرئيسية أن الطبيب الذي لديه أفضل سلوكيات مع خصائص جيدة لمرضاه وأفضل مؤشرات. أعلى أالأولويات للمعايير الفرعية هي قبول الطبيب لإستخدام بدائل الوجبات، والمستوى الإقتصادي الإجتماعي للمرضى، وإمكانية تتبع وصفاته الطبية.
تظهر النتائج النهائية أن قائمة المستشفيات المختارة هي مستشفى الأردن، مستشفى المركز العربي الطبي، مستشفى الجامعة الاردنية،المستشفى الاسلامي، ومستشفى فرح. وتظهر النتائج للخطوة الثانية أن قائمة الأطباء المختارة هي الطبيب B، الطبيب A، الطبيب C، الطبيب D، والطبيب E. هذه البدائل التي يجب ان تأخذها شركة الأدوية في إعتبارها عند بدء عملية اطلاق المنتج.
